This portable bed rail from Safety 1st is designed to keep your child securely in bed and aims to vastly reduce the risk of them falling out. It folds down, making it easier tp place your child into the bed itself, and can also be folded away neatly and compactly for travel and storage. Designed to fit most beds including those with slatted bases, another plus is that it requires no tools for assembly. It is designed for use with beds that are a minimum length of 156cm and mattresses from 10cm depth to 24cm depth. Suitable for ages 18 months to 5 years, it has a maximum weight of 22.7kg (50lbs). It should only be used with children who can get in and out of bed unassisted. The Safety 1st Bed Rail easily extends to 42", and has the closed dimensions of 73cm and opens to 106cm with a height of 43cm.
This bed guard is not suitable for use with elderly or infirm adults of for non-domestic environment. This product coforms to BS 7972:2001. It is currently only available in the blue colour.
